Formed as a house on rectangular base with dentilated rim, the walls and the roof engraved to represent bricks and tiles, the hinged roof opening to reveal three circular compartments, one fitted with the original container, marked on base with assay scrapes on base and inside plate -- 10.8 cm long

The inscription reads: M. GUILLAME. CAPPEL 1616.
The maker's mark could be that of Louis Grubault.
