A RARE SMALL ARCHAISTIC WHITE JADE VESSEL, YI
QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY

Finely carved of archaistic bronze form, applied on one side opposite the pouring mouth with a C-shaped handle, decorated with archaic C-motifs, the vessel with a band of confronted kui dragons, against a hatched-ground, below a band of keyfret along the mouth rim, raised on three circular bosses, well-hollowed on the interior, the semi-translucent material of an even white tone with areas of natural russet inclusions
