Carved in openwork to depict a compressed basket, decorated in shallow relief with a stylised Shou character, flanked by a pair of stylised kui dragons on either side, supporting an acolyte seated beneath a bat in flight and surrounded by a dense network of branches growing foliage, mounted on a later silver mount and chain
