Of plain cylindrical form with turned ebonized side handle, the flat stepped cover with sliding cap, the cylindrical stand with similar handle, the rim and removable platform to the stand pierced with bands of stylised foliage, the removable plain cylindrical lamp with similar handle and cover, the interior with removable wick-holder, all pieces engraved with contemporary initials AG inside escutcheon, marked on bases, sides and covers -- overall height 18.5 cm (7¼ in)
