After serving in the military, the brothers moved to Los Angeles where they performed with The Carpenters, John Denver, Kenny Rogers and Steve Martin. While working at Disneyland they were spotted by Buck Owens who signed them with his record label Capital Records and his seminal show Hee Haw, where they were regular cast members for nineteen years. Their biggest single Gotta Get to Oklahoma (Cause California's Getting' to Me) reached #41 on the charts.
