A NYMPHENBURG PEAR-SHAPED COFFEE-POT AND DOMED COVER painted in purple camaieu, one side with a girl with a basket of fruit sitting on the ground watching a squirrel in a tree eating a nut, the other side with a spaniel on a river bank before buildings and trees, both within gilt scroll and strapwork half-cartouches enclosing polychrome fruit and below garlands of coloured flowers, one side with a coloured bird and a moth, the rim and spout with elaborate gilt scrolls and diaper panels, the cover with red berry finial, two insects and gilt scrollwork, impressed shield/2 and P, circa 1762
