LATE CLASSICAL PERIOD, CIRCA 4TH CENTURY B.C.
In the form of Nike, the goddess with her wings outstretched, her torso twisted to her left, her head turned right, her peplos billowing behind and clinging to her feminine form, holding the strap of the oval shield in her left hand, the details finely incised including her feathers, her necklace, a band of wave along the edge of the shield, tongues on the interior, stippling below her feet
