ATTRIBUTED TO THE DIJON PAINTER, CIRCA 380-370 B.C.
The obverse with a satyr and a maenad, the satyr nude, standing on one foot on a rocky groundline, his left leg raised, holding a filleted thyrsos in his left hand and a phiale in his right, the maenad before him, moving right but looking back, wearing a peplos, a himation over her left arm, a tympanum in her left hand; the other side with two draped youths; a band of meander with saltire squares encircling below, laurel below the rim, a palmette and tendrils below each handle, lines at the handle roots
