A GREEK BLACK-GLAZED KANTHAROS
SOUTH ITALIAN, CIRCA LATE 4TH CENTURY B.C.
With a concave body and a hemispherical bowl, the broad mouth overhanging, the slender loop handles rolled back, on a low flaring foot with a reserved molding, the interior stamped with a cruciform palmette design encircled by thin rays
