The oval stone carved with a head of Medusa in high relief, turned slightly to her left, her face with a knitted brow, framed by serpentine locks of hair, the individual locks delineated, scaley snake bodies running under her neck, short wings at the crown of her head; mounted as a pendant in an ancient-style gold setting
