Marked Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1880, with later Soviet marks; Cyrillic maker's mark 'DM' for an unknown maker, Moscow, 1758; Cyrillic maker's mark 'AD' probably for Andrei Dementiev, Moscow, 1777
The cylindrical tea-glass holder repoussé and chased with a village scene depicting peasants by a well, with angular shaped handle, on four ball feet, gilt interior; one beaker of tapering cylindrical form, the sides chased and embossed with an eagle, dolphin and a landscape within rocaille cartouches and foliate scrolls; the other beaker of tapering cylindrical form, on three ball feet, repoussé and chased with scrolls all marked under bases, the first beaker additionally near upper rim, the second beaker engraved under base with initials B:J
