Each realistically modelled in Eastern dress, sitting cross-legged on a white ground cushion with gilt corner-tassels and on a white and pink ground base, the lady wearing a white dress, light blue trousers, pink regal coat with wide sleeves and gilt detail, and red pointed slippers, the gentleman with moustache and small beard raising one fist, wearing a blue regal coat with wide sleeves, pink trousers and red pointed slippers, marked under base with red Imperial double-headed eagle with the Cyrillic signature in an oval 'Gardner Factory in Moscow', inside the oval
