A dark-haired young lady wearing an embroidered white gauze cap fixed under her chin with a sky-blue ribbon, the collar of her long-sleeved chestnut-coloured dress edged with an embroidered white gauze ruff; enamel on copper -- 63 mm diam., reeded gold frame chased with ribbons and foliage.
