A Japanese Imari sake flask, tokkuri
Late 17th Century
Painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and gilt, the square tapering sides variously decorated with figures admiring blossoming trees, below shaped cartouches on the chamfered shoulders surmounted by a narrow flaring neck, two rim chips
