The present lot is similar in style to Carriages, Riders and Wanderers, in the collection of the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, Enschede (inv. 55; illustrated in K. Ertz, Flemish painters in the circle of the great masters, I, 'Jan Breughel d.J.', Freren, 1984, p. 505, fig. 336).
