A LARGE SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL TWO-HANDLED BOWL
marked Fabergé with the Imperial Warrant, workmaster Fedor Rückert, Moscow, 1899-1908

Oval with rounded sides and cylindrical rim and base, supported on four square feet, with shaped handles, decorated in blue, orange, yellow and white in the Pan-slavic style with birds, foliage, flowers and geometric designs on pale green ground, the two handles incorporating Chinese motifs, the base with engraved Russian presentation inscription Presented to Nadejda Michaelovna Countess Torby by the Board of Directors and the Members of the Russian Government Committee, London, under the Presidency of Duke Michael Michaelovich 2/15 Nov 1916 --25.5 cm wide
