TIBET, XVIIIEME-XIXEME SIECLE
Représentée assise en vajrasana sur un socle lotiforme, la main droite en varadamudra, la gauche en vitarkamudra, vêtue d'un sari, parée de bijoux, une écharpe flottant autour de ses épaules, le visage serein légèrement souriant, les cheveux retombant en tresses sur ses épaules, le front ceint d'une tiare mobile, scellée, socle (manques) ; on y ajoute une statue de Guanyin chinoise en porcelaine blanc de chine et son socle en bois
Hauteur de la Tara: 32 cm. (12 5/8 in.), Hauteur de la Guanyin: 41 cm. (16 1/8 in.) (2)

The Tara was exhibited in the Museo Nacional de Arte Oriental de Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1966, illustrated in the catalogue of the exhibition pl.183
