Lot Essay

This bronze image could represent the Buddhist monk Phra Malai. He was known for his special power, as he was able to visit heaven and hell through contemplation and meditation. After he returned again to earth he started to preach that all our deeds in life would lead either to suffering or to spiritual merit. Thereupon he promoted the Buddhist way of life.
