Oval, on four scroll feet with mask and foliate joins, the basket with pierced sides, the border applied with openwork cast rim of grapevine and foliage, the swing handle with grapevine joins, the base engraved The Gift of Yer Honble Lady Chedworth 1756, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms in a rococo cartouche, marked on reverse
