AN ENGLISH DELFT GINGER JAR AND COVER
CIRCA 1700-1725, PROBABLY LONDON, PERHAPS BRISTOL
Of globular form, the domed cover with an inverted acorn knop finial, painted in underglaze shades of blue and bluish-green and enriched in iron-red with birds on flowering branches reserved within blue cartouches, divided by flowering vine, the convex shoulder flanked by small upright bracket handles with twisted terminals
