TWO ENGLISH SHELL-DECORATED DESSERT PLATES
Circa 1815, one probably Coalport, the other Worcester (Flight Barr & Barr) and with a prwn printed Royal Warrant mark
The first painted with a still life of shells on a marble ledge, the border gilt and enriched in colors with foliate scrolls and paterae; the second with a single shell on a shaded taupe ground, the wide border gilt with vermiculé
