In original wooden case
"Extremely primary, mostly red fruits with a trace of cassis and earth notes followed by medium weight flavors underpinned by ripe tannins wrapped in sap. Quite concentrated, very intense with outstanding length and superb acid/fruit balance. With air this became beautifully perfumed, indeed almost opulent, quite pure and fine. Tannic and a touch austere (but not hard) as young Richebourg should be and displaying great potential." BH, May 15, 2004
