Details
PONSOT
Domaine Ponsot was established in 1772 and is now one of the leading producers in Burgundy. Ponsot was one of the first domaines to practice estate bottling in the 30's, and even more importantly, the Ponsots were the first to undertand the importance of clonal selection in vineyards. In fact, many of the most important Pinot Noir clones have their origins in Ponsot property. Today, Laurent Ponsot runs the estate and produces powerful, concentrated and spicy wines from top sites, like Clos de la Roche.
