The tapering overmantel centred by an armorial shield with rampant lion above the Gothic strapwork frieze with rosette, the moulded jambs with male and female masks, on a three stone hearth
108 in. (274.5 cm.) high; 73 in. (185.5 cm.) wide; 14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) deep; the opening -- 36 x 42 in. (91.5 x 106.5 cm.); the hearth 22¼ in. (56.5 cm.) deep
Together with a cast-iron firegrate, modern, the andirons with fleur-de-lys finials
