A Gray Schist Stele of a Bodhisattva
Gandhara, 2nd/3rd century
Seated in 'Royal Ease' upon a throne with turned legs, with his right foot supported by a footstool, his left hand grabbing at the voluminous folds of his dhoti, adorned with a torque and large pendant earrings, the face turned slightly to his right and surmounted by an elaborate headdress
