Two Gilt Bronze Figures of Ratnasambhava
Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Both seated in dhyanasana on double-lotus bases with beaded rims, their hands in varada- and dhyanamudras, dressed in high-wasted under robes and flowing sanghatis, the hems incised with a floral pattern, the faces with heavy-lidded eyes flanked by long earlobes, the hair in tight curls pulled over the ushnisha and topped with knops, the bases sealed with a double-vajra
