Vietnam, Annamese, 15th/16th century
Thickly potted on a short foot, the interior painted with a bird amidst pomegranate-laden branches at center, surrounded by circular bands and the sides filled with a floral-and-vine pattern, the outside painted with an elegant lotus pattern
