The first, hira-zukuri, iori-mune with an itame forging pattern mixed with masame of ji-nie, the tempered edge gunome idare of nie and nioi, tang ubu with katte-sagari file marks and one hole, gold one-piece habaki, in a shirasaya, 11in. (17.9cm.) long

The second hira-zukuri, iori-mune with an ayasugi forging pattern and a suguha-ko-midare tempered edge, the tang ubu with gilt-copper fittings decorated with cherry blossoms against a nanako ground, two ring supports
