A Japanese blue and white dish and an Imari bowl
Late 17th and 18th Century
The blue and white dish painted in the Chinese 'kraak' style with a central roundel of pomegranate and finger citrus, surrounded at the well and rim by lappets enclosing flowers and auspicious symbols, 38.6 cm. diam.; and a verte-Imari bowl decorated to the interior and exterior with flowering branches of chrysanthemum, 21.8 cm. diam., minor frits (2)
