A SQUARE MARBLE-INSET ZITAN CORNER-LEG TABLE, FANGZHUO
The mottled red and white single panel marble top set into the square zitan frame, above aprons and spandrels carved with archaistic scroll, each side opening to reveal a single drawer concealed within the apron, the whole supported on legs of square section terminating in scroll-form feet raised on small tabs

Provenance
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owners, Whampoa, Guangdong, circa 1890-1920s, thence by descent within the family.
