A GOLD-SPLASHED BRONZE FIGURE OF A SEATED MYTHICAL HORNED BEAST
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Seated with head turned and mouth open in a fierce expression, the ears alertly pricked and the tufted tail raised, with flames emerging from the haunches and finely incised tufts of hair surrounding the face and continuing down the back and legs, covered overall in splashes of gold
11 3/8 in. (28.9 cm.) high, fitted wood stand
