A SMALL GUAN-TYPE ARROW VASE
With compressed body and a slender neck flanked by a pair of tubular handles, covered allover and on the base with a crackled glaze in imitation of Guan wares, the foot rim left unglazed revealing the dark ware: together with a quadrilobed Guan-type brush washer, 18th century, raised on four bracket-lobed feet and covered overall in a finely crackled greyish glaze; and a small lotus-leaf-form brush washer, the details of the veins delicately rendered in the interior under the thick, grey glaze
Vase 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) high; brushwashers 3 13/16 in. (9.7 cm) and 3 9/16 in. (9 cm.) across, three wood stands and three boxes (3)
