EARLY WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, CIRCA 11TH CENTURY BC
One with shaft ring set in front of the projecting tang cast in high relief on both sides with a bovine mask; the other with slightly curved blade with shaped lower edge, cast in relief at the vertical guard with the forequarters of a dragon with open jaws and projecting ears that flare back towards the plain tang pierced with a single hole
