A similar jade handle carved with three registers of wings between bow-string borders, dated Western Zhou, from the collection of Professor Klaus J. Müller was included in the O.C.S. exhibition, Chinese Jade throughout the ages, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1975, no. 9. Two related handles excavated from Western Zhou tombs at Liuliho, Fangshan county, are illustrated in Kaogu, 1974:5, p. 318, pls. 16 and 17.
