THREE GREYISH-GREEN JADE PENDANTS
WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 11TH-10TH CENTURY BC
One a tiger/fish, carved on one side with an animal head, grooved body, notched tail and single leg; one possibly a locust nymph carved on both sides, with a pointed head, transversely grooved undulating body and leg with claw-like foot; the third a thick, narrow curved pendant carved on both sides as a locust nymph with transversely grooved body superimposed at one of the pierced ends with a locust, all semi-translucent and with some areas of opaque alteration
2 5/16, 2 9/16 and 3¾ in. (5.9, 6.5 and 9.5 cm.) long (3)
