A GREYISH-GREEN JADE RIBBED COURT HEADDRESS
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
Of arched form carved with ribs extending from a plain band in front to just above an upturned bottom rim in back, the plain ends pierced for insertion of a hair pin; together with a grey-green and brown jade figure of a recumbent lion, Ming dynasty, with curls on top of its head and upswept tail with hair markings
