etching, 1879-80, on laid paper, a fine, subtle impression of the second (final) state, signed with the butterfly lower left, with traces of the signature tab at lower sheet edge, trimmed on or just into the plate, some pale staining to the left sheet edge, remains of old hinge tape to the top sheet edge, otherwise in generally good condition
