La figure ici présente est très proche stylistiquement d'une sculpture représentant un éveque, conservée au Rijksmuseum, tant par les expressions du visage, la mâchoire lourde, la bouche boudeuse, les yeux obliques sous des arcades sourcilières proéminentes que par le traitement des plis de la chape et la raideur de l'étoffe (voir J. LEEUWENBERG and W. HALSEMA-KUBES, Beeldhouwkunst in het Rijksmuseum catalogues, Amsterdam, 1973, no. 115, pp. 115-116).
