NORTH EAST IRAN, 10TH CENTURY
Of conical form on flat foot, the cream interior with 'Tang splashed' decoration in emerald-green, yellow and manganese over a design incised through the white slip, decorated with a central lozenge divided by a large manganese highlighted panel, the cavetto with four similar panels alternated with loosely mirrored lobed motifs containg loose scrolls, the interstices with similar scrolls, the exterior plain, good glaze surface, repaired breaks, in fitted box
