Of rounded form on short foot, the exterior engraved with a wide band of elegant nasta'liq on a ground of spiralling vine, beneath this a minor band of tight s-scrolls and a wider band of reciprocal palmettes, two small makers' or owners' marks in cartouches on the foot and around the bottom of the bowl one of them reads Muhammad Muhsin, slightly rubbed
8in. (20.4cm.) diam.
