Of rounded form on short, slightly spreading foot, the exterior engraved with a lower band of reciprocal cusped palmettes the points of which issue small trefoils, the upper register of palmettes containing alternating animals or small trefoil leaves on a ground of floral scrolling vine, this register surmounted by a band of scrolling vine issuing flowerheads and a band of bold nasta'liq calligraphy on a similar ground, with small owner's name reading Ramazan 'Ali in a roundel towards the bottom of the bowl and on the foot, little tin remaining
