SIGNED MUHAMMAD HUSAYN, PROBABLY IRAN, LATE 16TH/EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Persian manuscript on lightly gold illuminated buff paper, with 4ll. of elegant blue decoupé nasta'liq in orange-outlined clouds reserved against a gold and polychrome illuminated ground, triangular panel above and below with further illumination, that below with the similarly executed signature of Muhammad Husayn, laid down between borders with nasta'liq panels alternated with those with floral illumination and plain blue and gold illuminated borders on wide card margins with later Qajar cartouches containing figural and floral design on ground of floral scrolls
