Of rectangular form with hinged door, supported on a heavy wood stand with trefoil palmette screws, the pierced door laid on a red metallic panel and decorated with a central cusped medallion containing cut scrolls and gold nasta'liq inscription, an acid etched and damascened surround with floral and avian motifs, the spandrels similarly cut with elegant gold damascened arabesques, the base with a series of calligraphic cartouches alternated with small floral roundels, the reverse with acid etched foral decoration surmounted by elegant damascened arabesques, some losses to damascening
