This coffee pot bears close resemblance to one in the Keir Collection that was formerly in the Adda Collection (Oliver Watson in B.W. Robinson et al, Islamic Art in the Keir Collection, London, 1988, C.105, pl. 59, p.247, published also in Bernard Rackham, Islamic Pottery and Italian Maiolica, London, 1959, no.229, p.53). Another similar ewer sold in these Rooms, 12 October 1999, lot 394.
