Oviform, the shoulder enriched with gilt flowers in the Art Nouveau taste, each finely painted with a full-length portrait of an exotic beauty, one in green silk robes after M. Nonnenbruch, titled 'Bien Etre', the other in a diaphanous and crimson kimono playing a Japanese lyre after N. Sichel, raised on a canted square base and four foliate scroll feet

Max Nonnenbruch (German, 1857-1922), was a student of the Dusseldorf and Munich Academy, studied in Paris and Italy before settling in Munich; Nathaniel Sichel (German, 1843-1907), was a student of J. Schroder in Berlin between 1859 and 1862, then studied in Rome and Paris. He was a graduate of both the Berlin and Paris Academy.
