Persian manuscript on paper, 180ff. plus 1 fly-leaf, 15ll. of black nasta'liq arranged in two columns divided by double gold and black intercolumnar rules, titles in red within cartouches across the columns, catchwords, the text panel within gold and black borders, fine illuminated headpiece, the colophon dated, later Ottoman notes with the names of Sayyid Muhammad bin al-Sayyid Ibrahim, known as Dukaginzada and Shaykh ak-Islam Sa'ib, in original binding with stamped and gilt floral medallions - folio 7 1/4 x 4in (18.3 x 10.2cm)
