This is a version of a painting by Prince Alexis Soltykov, published in his book Voyage en Perse, originally published in Russian in 1849. The individuals are indetified as follows from right to left:
vazir-e tashrifat (the Minister of Ceremonies), sepahdar-e gorji (the Georgian Commander of the army), vazir-e daftar (Minister of Records or Finance), Hajji Mirza Aqasi, (the Prime Minister of Muhammad Shah), naser al-din mirza valahazrat vali'ahd (His Highness Prince Nasir al-Din, the Crown Prince), qa 'em maqam (Viceregent, the title of Mirza Taqi Khan Amir Kabir), amin-e haram (Chief Eunuch), Mirza Abu'l Hasan Khan ilchi (the envoy), Manuchehr Khan (Mu'tamid al-Dawla).
