Sukran Moral's artistic experimentation continues, not abandoning performance as an expressive process but has, on this occasion, confronted a new theme. After the violent encounter with social issues, which show Sukran Moral's great interior strength and the committed determination which supported her in often difficult situations, she manages, with great involvement, to communicate a fundamental human principle, love, poetry, grace and emotional intensity are all part of this performance, combined by a sad melancholy and a distressing interior laceration. Sukran Moral sings for the first time, from within a small cage, like a little, trapped bird. In fact in Turkish Bulbul means nightingale.Only the artist's voice is used in the song, no musical accompaniment is provided... Moral's melancholy song exploits the notes of a traditional Turkish song which tells of a separation; the intentional hope is that the song in its untranslatability, which serves to nourish suggestion, allows the spectators find their own words. The artists voice has magical quality." Patrizia Mania, Sukran Moral, Rome 2004, p.186.
