Descriptif du lot

After her marriage to photographer Peyman Houshmandzadeh, Shadi Ghadirian began to receive domestic gifts from her friends and neighbours who were trying to encourage her to improve her non-existent culinary talents. This inspired her to create Like Everyday.
Works from this series have been exhibited in the 2003 Barcelona and Lyon exhbition entitled Harem Fantaisies, and the New Shehrazades ( CCCB, Barcelona, 2003) and in Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East at the Saatchi Collection in London in 2008.
