AN EGYPTIAN GILDED STEATITE HUMAN-HEADED HEART AMULET
NEW KINGDOM, CIRCA 1250-1050 B.C.
Recessed below the collar for three hearts, mounted, 5.7 cm. high; a gesso-painted wood Ba(soul)-bird fragment with sun disk, circa 4th Century B.C., 6.5 cm. high; a limestone concubine head; a miniature limestone shrine, circa 6th-1st Century B.C.; and a pottery crouching ape, 7.1 cm. high max. (5)
